One of the biggest challenges with Leadership positions is how to differentiate between the friends of your VISION and the friends of the POSITION.
Friends of the position you occupy are friends of the moment that will naturally outnumber the friends of your vision.
But never forget;
SHADOWS only appear when the moment is bright. Even your own shadow will leave you once darkness sets in.
STARS may appear silent in the sky, but they get more visible and useful in the darkest of moments.
Be careful not to sacrifice Stars for Shadows.
